About episode 24-Legend: ______________
Nataku is kneeling with his head in Fuma's lap. Fuma asks Nataku if he will restore his body. Nataku says he will if that is Fuma's wish. Fuma asks Nataku what he wishes for. Nataku replies that he wishes to be with his father and stands up in front of Fuma. Fuma dissolves Nataku and uses the blood and tissue to repair his damaged face. He says that the end will come soon.

Kamui is dreaming that he is the DoE instead of Fuma. He kills Fuma with his sword. Kakyo enters Kamui's dream and tells him that this was his other future and that he could have chosen to become the DoE instead of the DoH. He says in the end, the DoE will defeat the DoH and the Earth will change. This is the only future. Kakyo tells Kamui that if he had decided to become a DoE instead, that he would not have had to experience such sadness and pain. Kamui asks if Fuma would have had to experience it instead, and Kakyo says yes. Kamui says then he is glad he chose the way he did. If he had switched places with Fuma, he knows Fuma would try to get him back as well. Kamui's sword starts to vibrate. He says Fuma is calling him. He tells Kakyo that all of the Seals have lost the ability to create their kekkais. There is only one kekkai left and before he lets that kekkai fall, he will kill Fuma.

Kamui waits for Fuma at Tokyo Tower while Kakyo watches him from his dreamscape. He says to himself that Kamui cannot win against Fuma. Hokuto appears and tells Kakyo there is still something they can do.

At CLAMP Campus, Aoki sits in his wheelchair by the window while Yuzuriha sits at Kusanagi's bedside. There is a knock on the door, and Arashi walks in with her head bowed and apologizes to Yuzuriha for hurting the person who is most important to her. Yuzuriha says she understands Arashi's feelings and that she heard about Sorata's death. She tells Arashi that she understands that she everything to protect Sorata and she believes Kusanagi would understand that as well. Arashi says sadly that even though she went against her own destiny, she couldn't change anything. Aoki tells her that destiny may be something that cannot be changed but there are still those beside her that will face it with her. He tells her that even though they have lost their powers, they can still hope. Arashi says she has nothing left to hope for now. Aoki tells her she can still hope for Sorata's wish, which was to protect her and the Earth and that it is the same with both Karen and Saiki. He says that everything is now in Kamui's hands and they must believe in him and hope for the best.

Hokuto, with Kakyo's help, enters Subaru's dream. She tells him that her wish wasn't granted and she only ended up hurting Subaru more by what she did to Seishiro. She tells him she knows he is in pain, but he cannot stay like this forever. She tells Subaru that even though she and Seishiro no longer exist in this world, they still exist within his heart. She pleads with him to remember that there are still ones to protect. Fuma grabs Kakyo's body by the throat which breaks apart the dreamscape and Hokuto disappears. Fuma mocks Kakyo for wishing for another future. He tells Kakyo that he will let him live so he can see the future he didn't wish for come to pass.

Fuma meets Kamui atop Tokyo Tower. He tells Kamui that this is a terrible world. The Earth is crying out for change and Kamui is the only one left to interfere. He tells Kamui it is useless to fight and draws his sword. The two jump into the air and the sky lights up with red and blue as their swords meet. The other Seals watch the sky anxiously from CLAMP Campus. Windows shatter and cars explode as Fuma and Kamui fight. Fuma lands on the tower as Kamui comes at him from above. Kamui shouts to Fuma that he will defeat him and strikes at him with his sword. Fuma blocks the attack with his own sword and Kamui's sword shatters. Kamui's shoulder has been run through by Fuma's sword. Kamui stares at his broken sword in shock. Fuma tells Kamui that since he is not fully awakened as the DoH he will die. If you use the sword against the one you want to protect, you cannot use it full strength. He withdraws his sword from Kamui's shoulder and Kamui collapses. Fuma tells Kamui he was never meant to win and that there is only one true future.

A large hexagram forms, cutting through Tokyo, as buildings collapse all around. Fuma smiles evilly, and raises his sword finish off Kamui. As he the sword slashes down, Subaru jumps in and grabs Kamui, carrying him away from Fuma. Kamui falls roughly on a platform several feet away. Subaru lands nearby, and slumps over, bleeding. From the window at CLAMP Campus, the other Seals see Subaru's kekkai around Tokyo Tower.

Subaru collapses against the railing. Kamui looks at him worriedly and wonders how he got here. Subaru says that it was Kamui's wish for strength that brought him. Subaru's strength is fading and his kekkai begins to slowly dissolve. Subaru grabs Kamui's hand and reminds Kamui of the time he brought him back to the real word (episode 13). He asks Kamui if he regrets coming back now. Kamui says he doesn't. Subaru smiles and falls unconscious. His kekkai begins to dissolve more quickly.

Kamui, holding his injured shoulder faces Fuma. He recalls the past words of his friends and family:

Kamui's mother: "Become strong to protect the ones you love."
Hinoto: "I want to believe in you."
Sorata: "You already have plenty of regrets. You should look ahead and move forward from now on."
Kotori: "The future is still undecided, right?"

Kamui and Fuma stare at one another. Fuma raises his sword and attacks. Blood splashes. Kamui didn't even try to protect himself and he has been run through the chest with Fuma's sword. Kamui raises his head and looks at Fuma with a serene expression. This confuses Fuma. Kamui smiles and tells Fuma he finally understands how to bring him back. Fuma angrily replies that he is the DoE. Kamui tells him that's alright and he just wanted to protect Fuma and the world he lives in. Fuma tells him that he will die and disappear and that the Earth will change. Kamui places his hand over Fuma's heart, surprising Fuma yet again. Golden globes of light start to ascend from Kamui's body. Kamui tells Fuma that he won't disappear because he will always be in Fuma's heart. He says he finally noticed it…Kotori lives on inside him, and so does his mother. Sorata, too, continues to live inside Arashi's heart. Hinoto, Saiki, and Karen all live on inside someone's hearts. Fuma looks shocked. Kamui goes on to say that everyone who exists inside another's heart, entrusts their wish to that person. Kamui tells Fuma that he has decided, and now entrusts Fuma with his wish for the future. The light swells from Kamui and forms a huge spherical shaped kekkai that engulfs all of Tokyo, instantly repairing all of the damage.

The other Seals watch from the CLAMP campus window. Aoki smiles and says it's Kamui's kekkai. Yuzuriha, also smiling, says Kamui's name. Arashi cries tears of happiness. Then, Yuzuriha's sword shimmers and turns back into little Inuki. Inuki jumps onto the hospital bed and lands next to Kusanagi who finally wakes up. Yuzuriha is too happy to speak.

At Tokyo Tower, Subaru looks up at Kamui's kekkai. Fuma stands on the tower and looks out over Tokyo with a peaceful expression.

Time passes.

Arashi visits Mt. Kouya. The old stargazer shows her a place where a young Sorata carved the words "let the girl I fall in love with be a beauty!". Arashi leans against the words and smiles with tears in her eyes.

Aoki and his family leave flowers on Karen's grave.

Yuzuriha, Kusanagi, and a completely grown Inuki sit together at the waterfall that was shown in Yuzuriha's flashback in episode 10.

Subaru is shown standing among Sakura trees. He looks at peace.

Fuma visits the tree under which Kotori is buried. A bird lands on his shoulder and he smiles.

Hokuto appears in front of Kakyo, holding out her hand. She asks him to come outside this time. He takes her hand and they fly off together into the light as Kotori's voice is heard once more; "The future is still undecided".
